Mr. Willie Hayes, Jr., age 92, of Rose Hill, NC Peacefully Answered the Master's Call on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at his residence. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Willie James, Jr. officiating. Left to cherish his precious memories four sons: Willie B. Hayes (LaVergne) of Bowie MD, Frederick Hayes, Jeffrey Hayes (Pamela) and David Hayes (Virgie), all of Rose Hill, NC; five daughters: Judy Carolyn Tyler and Geraldine Hayes, both of Rose Hill, NC, Veronica Crawford (Leonard) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Theresa McGriff (Willie) of Laurel, MD and Sheila Taylor of Jessup, Maryland; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law: Willie Mae Lee of Clinton, Janie Maynor of Harrells, NC, Estelle Tatum of Washington, DC and Betty Hayes, Harrells, NC; one brother-in-law, Frederick Mainor of Garland; a host of nieces, nephews, numerous family and friends that will miss him dearly. A visitation of relatives and friends will be 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Services will be live-streamed on the Rose Hill Funeral Home Facebook page. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50 persons. We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wearing a mask or facial covering, sanitizing your hands, and practicing social distancing.
