William Franklin Lee

          Mr. William Franklin Lee (Frank) age 69 of Willard, NC passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2024 at his home.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:30 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Royal Chapel Church Cemetery in Ivanhoe, NC.

William Franklin Lee  (was born in Bladen County, NC  as one of three children to the late Henry Fitzhugh Lee and the late Chellie Irene (Herring) Lee.  His two brothers, Frederick Lee and Bobby Lee also preceded him in death.

Frank was married in Ivanhoe, NC on July 7, 1979 to the late Sharon (Vann) Lee of Pender County, NC.  Together they had four sons:  William Franklin Lee II of Fayetteville, NC, Michael J. Lee and Carlos T. Lee, both of Wallace, NC and Kelvin L. Lee of Willard, NC.

Left to cherish his memories include one uncle, Rev. Dr. Zebedee C. Herring (Rev. Dr. Shari Herring) of Autryville, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Catherine Vann of Ivanhoe, NC; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; grandchildren: Jaydah Lee, Sharon Lee, Michael Lee, Jr., Jadon Lee, Adriana Armani Kerridge, Kaiden Jase Burton, Carter Lee, Caden Lee; one great-grandchild; one close friend, David Hargrave; nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends that will miss him dearly.
