William Eugene Mainor

Mr. William Eugene Mainor, age 96, of Charlotte, NC formerly of Duplin County, Departed this world on Friday, December 11, 2020. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC . Rev. Gregory Carr, officiating. Burial will follow at Mainor Family Cemetery, Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are two daughters: Mona Mainor Ferguson and Dorothy Mainor, both of Charlotte; four grandchildren: Darnell Ferguson (Kathy) of Atlanta, GA, Marcus Ferguson (Shannon of Glastonbury, CT, Jeffrey Ferguson (Dalia) of New York, NY and Khiari Ortiz of Charlotte; three great-grandchildren: Leo Michael Ferguson, Isabell Ferguson and Madeline Ferguson; four sisters-in-law: Joanne Hackley, Roberta Murray and Rose Murray, all of Baltimore, MD and Joyce Murray of Gwynn Oak, MD; one son-in-law, Leo Ferguson of Greenville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss him dearly. A walk-through viewing for relatives and friends will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50. We will be expecting Everyone entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wear face covering, and practice social distancing.
