William Edward Newkirk

Mr. William Edward Newkirk, age 71, of Wallace, NC departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are three sons: Delano Graham (Almeda) of Florence, SC, James Newkirk (Alexandria) of Fort Worth, TX, and Terrance Davis of Greenburg, NY; three daughters: Thomasina Hamilton (Samuel) of Graham, NC, Jacqueline Newkirk of White Plains, NY and Alexandra Andujar of Yonkers, NY; two brothers: Ransom Newkirk of Wallace and Thomas Newkirk (Katrina) of White Plains, NY; three sisters: Laura Mulberry of Wallace, Mary Stallings of Greensboro and Helen Watkins of Boston, MA; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Services will be live-streamed on the Rose Hill Funeral Home Facebook page. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50 persons. We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wearing a mask or facial covering, sanitizing your hands, and practicing social distancing.
