Tarence Lamont Gause

Mr. Tarence Lamont Gause, age 49, of Bishopville, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2023 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Bishopville, South Carolina.

A visitation of family and friends will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Syrian Missionary Baptist Church, 1340 Syrian Church Road in McColl, South Carolina from 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Jalonda Bell and grandson, Jaiden Bell of Paterson, New Jersey; his father, Myron Martin (Elizabeth) Martin of Bishopville, South Carolina; step-grandmother, Delafayette Swann of Rose Hill, North Carolina;  brothers: Shaquan Powell and Shabee Powell of Paterson, New Jersey; step-brother, Jarvis Frazier of Bishopville, South Carolina; sisters: Keisha Bultler of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Toccara Martin and Shirmyra Martin of Bishopville,  South Carolina; uncles: Charles (Bonnie) Martin of Paterson New Jersey and Norbert (Eloise) Gause of Shallotte, North Carolina; aunts: Lillie Gause of Paterson, New Jersey, Ruby (Judge L.) Holmes, Sandra Gause, and Glenda Gause, all of Shallotte, North Carolina; two great-aunts, Rosalie Williams of Bennettsville, South Carolina and Josephine Calhoun of McColl, South Carolina; a host nieces, nephews, and cousins; and one beloved family friend Martha Jean Sanders. He will forever be missed by everyone who knew him.
