Ruthie Lee Swann Farrior Artis

Mrs. Ruth Lee Swann Artis, age 94, of Magnolia, NC passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Southwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, NC.

A visitation of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Rose Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at the Farrior Cemetery, Brinson Road in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories: six sons: John D. Farrior, Jr. (Pam) of Bremerton, WA, Eddie D. Farrior (Sandra) of Columbia, SC, Bruce W. Farrior, Newport News, VA, Willie A. Farrior of Rose Hill, NC, Sidney J. Farrior (Denise) of Ponchatoula, LA and Tyrone L. Artis, Devil’s Lake, ND; four daughters: Angelina Smith (Jesse) of Warsaw, NC, Mary Ann Gibbs (Harry) of Dudley, NC, Jennifer L. Farrior of Magnolia, NC and Regina F. Boney (Raymond) of Mebane, NC; five step-sons: Gregory Artis (Mary) of Magnolia, NC, Maurice Artis of Magnolia, Christopher Artis of Georgia, Jeffrey Artis of Magnolia, NC and Michael Artis of Raleigh, NC; three step-daughters: Rev. Joyce Murphy of Rose Hill, NC, Brenda Wilson (Carl) and Gloria Artis of Magnolia, NC; two brothers: Willie Swann of New York and James Swann (Annette) of Washington, DC; two sisters: Annie Maynor of Moncks Corner, SC and Mary Thompson of Rose Hill, NC; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
