Oscar Junior Murphy

          Mr. Oscar Junior Murphy, age 88, of Rose Hill passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 2, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Mary Louise Murphy of Rose Hill, NC; one son, Alvin Murphy (Nancy) of Gardena, CA; two daughters: Belinda Diane Wiley (Cirlee) of Rose Hill, NC and Cynthia D. Carlton of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Joe Nathan Murphy (Betty) of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
