Ms. Naomi Smith McMillian, age 68, of Wallace, NC Transitioned into Celestial Peace on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville, NC. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, January 18, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Michael Maddox officiating. Burial will follow at Murray Cemetery, Wallace, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are husband, James L. McMillian of Rose Hill; one son, Robert Smith (Cathy) of Beulaville; one daughter, Melinda Scarborough of Jacksonville; one brother, Jesse Smith (Margaret) of Wallace; three sisters: Mary Frances Carter (David) of Wallace, Shirley Williams (Thad) of Wilmington and Earlene Lanier (Roosevelt) of Rose Hill; one brother-in law, Andrew James; one aunt, Catherine Catlin (John) of Wilmington; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. A visitation of relatives and friends will be one hour prior to the service at Rose Hill Funeral Home, NC. Services will be live-streamed on the Rose Hill Funeral Home Facebook page. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50 persons. We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wearing a mask or facial covering, sanitizing your hands, and practicing social distancing.
