Mrs. Mary Azelene Stokes Merritt, age 97, of Magnolia, received her Heavenly wings on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC. Funeral services for family and friends will be 1:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Rev. James Faison, III officiating. Interment will be at Merritt Cemetery, Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories is her daughter, Valerie Merritt, Magnolia, NC. Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill. The funeral service will be live-streamed from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Facebook page. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 100 persons.
