Ms. Marilyn Ann Sloan, age 71, of Rose Hill, NC died Friday, January 28, 2022, at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville, NC. Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Hwy 903, Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish her memories are one brother, James Sloan of Rose Hill; one sister, Denese Nicholson (Donald) of Fredericksburg, VA; two aunts: Dorothy Middleton and Gertrude Glaspie, both of Bronx, NY; five nieces, three nephews, fifteen great-nieces, and nephews; special friends: Edna Boney, Denise Fennell, and Jackie Edwards; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service.
