Marcille West Chavis

Mrs. Marcille West Chavis, age 72, of the Delway Community, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 3:30 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill. Interment will follow at St. James Church Cemetery, Hwy 421, in Rose Hill. Left to cherish his precious memories are her husband, Arthur Chavis of Rose Hill, NC; three sons: Darrell Bradley (Heather) of Pineville, LA, Derrick Bradley of Rose Hill, NC and Arthur Chavis, Jr. (Chandra) of Burgaw, NC; one daughter, Joy Bradley of Magnolia, NC; three brothers: Josephus West, Jr. of Rose Hill, Raymond West of Rose Hill, NC and Johnnie West of Marietta, GA; five sisters: Kay Frances Sims of Durham, NC, Estella Neely of Rose Hill, NC, Emma Williams of Rose Hill, N, Coletha Coston of Virginia Beach, VA and Annie M. West of Clinton, NC; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 4 pm to 5 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
