Mr. Malton Ward Brown, Jr., aka “Bud Brown”, age 81, of Chinquapin, NC died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home. Funeral service will be held on at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 30, 2022, at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church, Pickett Bay Road, Chinquapin, NC. Interment will follow at Whitehead Cemetery, Chinquapin, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Ann Brown of Jacksonville, NC; two sons: Malton W. Brown, III (Tamika) of Jacksonville, NC, and Tony N. Brown (Betty) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one daughter, Jessica Cabral of Lawrenceville, GA; six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
