Mr. Lacy Moore, Jr., age 73, of Kenansville, NC, Passed Away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his residence. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Middleton Family Cemetery in Kenansville, NC. Left to cherish his memories are three sons: Steven Chasten of Rose Hill, NC, Lacy Moore, III (Lawanda) and Sherman Miller, both of Magnolia, NC; step-mother, Margurite Moore of Kenansville; three brothers: Charlie Moore, Daniel Matthews, and Dennis Moore, all of Kenansville; seven sisters: Thelma Moore, Christine Moore, Rachel Moore, Dorothy Moore, all of Kenansville, Gloria Carter (James) of Fayetteville, NC, Wanda Stokes (Joseph) of Magnolia, NC and Margeretta Fullwood (Rev. Dennis) of Kenansville, NC; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three special nieces; Lakesha Reid, Tamika Hall, and Deborah Moore; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
