Joyce Ann Kenan Carlton

     Mrs. Joyce Ann Kenan Carlton, age 89, of Wallace entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at her home in Wallace, NC.

     Visitation of family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Adoram Baptist Church Cemetery in Wallace, NC.

     Left to cherish her precious memories are two sons: Edward B. Carlton, Jr of Sacramento, CA and DaZiel L. Carlton (Diane) of Hinesville, GA; three daughters: Wannetta Carlton and Darlene Carlton Leysath, both of Wallace, NC and Sheryl Cannon (Rev. Moses) of Garner, NC; one brother, Douglas Williams (Beatrice) of Brooklyn, NY; one sister, Betty K. Murphy (Joe) of Norfolk, VA; five grandchildren, seven great-granchildren; three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
