Mr. Josephus Daniel West, Jr., age 71 of Rose Hill, NC (Delway Community) died Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC. Funeral service to be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11:00 am. Left to cherish his memories are two sons: Josephus D. West, III (Natasha), and Raymond Griffin; three daughters: Suzette West, Tonya West Alexander (Dennis) and Ruby Griffin; two brothers: Raymond and Johnnie West; five sisters: Annie M. West, Kay Frances Sims, Estella Neely, Emma Williams, and Coletha Coston; nineteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly. Viewing for family and friends will be Friday, December 31, 2021, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
