Mr. Johnnie Witherspoon, aka “JD” age 94, of the Greenevers Community, Peacefully Transitioned into Eternal Rest on Saturday, August 15, 2020, in Franklin, VA. Funeral service will be 12 Noon Saturday, August 22, 2020, Greater Yeshuwa Temple, Hwy 41, Wallace, NC. Apostle Davelon Carr, officiating. Burial will follow at Farrior Family Cemetery, Rose Hill, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his son, Quintin L. Witherspoon (Gwendolyn) of Rose Hill; three grandchildren: Ledell A. Carr (Maryona) of Franklin, VA, Eric Hall and Cruise Hall, both of Goldsboro; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss him dearly.
