Mr. John Henry Draughon, age 83, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Friday, February 26, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. James Page officiating. Left to cherish his precious memories are one son, John H. Draughon, III (Shaundell) of Clayton; two daughters: Judalon Draughon of Wilmington and Lori White of Brooklyn, NY; one brother, Charles Draughon of Groton, CT; one sister, Delois Williams of Newark, NJ; one sister-in-law, Mary Alice Hobbs of Charlotte; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation for relatives and friends will be one hour prior to the service on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill. The funeral service will be live-streamed from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Facebook page. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50 persons. We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wearing a mask or facial covering, sanitizing your hands, and practicing social distancing.
