Mr. Joe Lee Barnes, age 72, of Rose Hill, NC, died Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Mary Gran Nursing Home in Clinton, NC. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his mother, Delhia Dixon of Rose Hill, NC; two brothers: William Dixon, Jr. (Denise) of Corpus Cristie, TX and Donald Dixon (Sharnelle) of Warsaw, NC; seven sisters: Deanna Newsome (Claudie) and Dorothy Newsome (Harry), both of Faison, NC, Delois Newkirk (George) of New Bern, NC, Sue Dixon, Edna Boney (Reginald) and Rosemary Ingram (Dexter), all of Rose Hill and Nina Madric (Zackery) of Deleware; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
