Jeremiah Olden Herring

Mr. Jeremiah Olden Herring, age 87, of Rose Hill,NC peacefully Joined Heaven's Army on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville, NC. He is survived by four sons: Hank D. Herring (Myra) of Beaufort, SC, Jamal Herring (Zanab) of Boston, MA, Teddy Herring of Greensboro and Jerry Herring of St. Helena Island, SC; one daughter, Rebecca Faison (Carl) of Turkey; one brother, Lawrence Fisher Herring of Rose Hill; two sisters, Mary Williams (Namon) of Walkertown and Inell Davis of Wallace; special granddaughter, Tori Herring; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel 472 Wells Town Rd, Rose Hill, NC 28458. Interment will follow in the Huffin Cemetery, Rose Hill, NC. Viewing for relatives and friends will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service.
