Mr. James Philemon Stallings, age 73, of Wallace, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care, Wilmington, NC. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 12, 2020 at New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 S NC 11 Hwy, Rose Hill, NC. Pastor Cameron Hankins, officiating. Burial will follow at New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Rose Hill, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Delia Mae Dobson Stallings of Wallace; children: James P. Stallings (Shalon) of Raleigh; Craig Stallings of Missouri, Kimberly Hall (Rossie) of Rose Hill and Lorei McGee of Brooklyn, NY; brother Terry Jeffrey Stallings of Wallace; three sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; special nephew, Michael Dobson of Wallace; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss him dearly. Please be observant of Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order 121 Order limiting mass gatherings to No More than 50 individuals. Everyone entering the facility is expected to comply with the order.
