James Washington Mainor, Jr.

           Mr. James W. Mainor, Jr., aka “JW”, age 83, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

          JW was a life-long native of Duplin County, NC. He was a funeral director, the mortician, and co-owner of Rose Hill Funeral Home for over 60 years.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 S NC 11 Hwy in Rose Hill, NC at 12:00 noon. Entombment will be at the Mainor Family Cemetery, 313 Fort Knox Road in Magnolia, NC at a later date.

Left here to carry on his legacy: one brother, George Davis Mainor (Carolyn), nieces and nephews, god-children, special friends, numerous cousins, and other loving relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
