James Bernice "JB" Thompson

Mr. James B. Thompson, aka “JB” age 76, of Magnolia, NC Passed Away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Genesis Health Care, Mount Olive, NC. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Sunday, January 3, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Terrell Powell, officiating. Burial will follow at Mathis Cemetery, 198 Blue Newkirk Road, Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are three children: James B. Thompson, Jr., Corabell (Candy) Thompson-Fitzhugh and Lena Thompson, all of Washington, DC; mother, Corine Murphy of Magnolia; one brother, Charlie Henry Thompson (Ruby) of Rose Hill; one sister, Pamela L. Vann (Bernard) of Magnolia; Thirteen grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him. A viewing will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill, NC, one hour prior to the service. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50. We will be expecting Everyone entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wear face covering, and practice social distancing.
