Elliott Glenn Newton

Mr. Elliott Glenn Newton, age 64, of Lawton, OK, formerly of Onslow County, died Tuesday, August 28, 2021. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 5, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Newton Family Cemetery in Maple Hill, NC. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Newton, of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Felicia Haecker and Dr. Vince Haecker, of Sacramento, CA; his son, RaJohn "RJ" Newton, of Sacramento, CA; four brothers, John L. Newton, Jr. (Beulah), David Newton (Mary), Samuel Newton (Assettou), and Calvin Newton (Thelma); three sisters, Virginia Christine Simmons (Benny), Annie Ruth Hickey, and Callie Mae Simmons (Edward); two grandchildren, Haydyn Haecker and Vinson Haecker; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
