Mr. Christopher Jeremaine Carr, age 52, of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Duplin County, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Torwanda Love Carr of Wilmington, NC; children: Jazmon Carr of Greensboro, NC, Alena Carr of Durham, NC, Christopher Carr, II of Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC and Kameran Love of Jacksonville, FL; step-daughter, Kawanna Jefferson (Chad); mother, Lillie Belle Carr of Wallace, NC; father, William A. Gray (Rita) of Richmond, VA; sister, Shari Sally (Tyrone) of Fort Washington, MD; brother, Tarick Gray of Amsterdam, Netherlands; aunts: Joan Halle of Lanham, MD, Linda Carr of Wallace, NC, Rebecca Coston (Samuel) and Judy Wilson (Johnnie) of Teachey, NC; uncle, John W. Carr (Emma) of Rose Hill, NC; grandchildren; Melody and Kali Love, Kingston and Princeton Jefferson; niece, Camryn Gray; a host of cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
