Mr. Charles Thomas Whitfield, Sr., of Clarkton, NC, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC at 3:00 pm. Interment to follow at Hall Family Cemetery in Beulaville, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Lillian Eldrin Whitfield of Beulaville; five children: Donnie Green (Lacreshia) of Red Springs, NC, Charles Thomas Whitfield, Jr. of Kenansville, NC, Monica Yvonne Whitfield of Charlotte, NC, Lalita Nicole Whitfield and Derrick Jamal Whitfield, both of Clinton; four brothers: Leo Bishop Whitfield, Jr., Dennis Earl Hall (Yvonne), Freely Miller and Bobby Whitfield; one sister, Bernice Whitfield; four grandchildren: Shaquan Jacor Whitfield, Chemere Jemese Whitmield, Shaunte’ Demond Dixon and Szkharia Damonie Whitfield; one great-grandchild, Ala’yah Jadore Whitfield; mother-in-law, Gertrude Bowen; seven sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
