Billy Devone Dixon, age 65, of Greenville, NC died Friday, March 11, 2022, at home. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his fiancé, Paulette Ellis of Greenville, NC; two sisters: Rev. Emma J. Loftin-Woods of Norway, England and Terri Highsmith of Warsaw, NC; one brother, Bernard Dixon (Wanda) of Wallace, NC; five aunts: Martha Wells (James), Mamie Baker (Linwood), Edna Batts (Willie T.), Malissa A. Brown and Elnora Dewitt; one uncle, Andrew Dixon (Daisy); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 11:00 pm to 11:50 pm, one hour prior to the service.
