Ms. Beady Marie Johnson, age 74, of Garner, NC, formerly of Rose Hill, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Transitions Lifecare in Raleigh, NC.

A Legacy of Love

Beady Marie Johnson, a beloved sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 27, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born on February 6, 1951, to Melvin and Lula M. Johnson of Rose Hill, NC, and resided in Garner, NC.

Beady was educated in the Duplin County school system and extended her education in the area of Business Administration at James Sprunt Institute in Kenansville, NC and later at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC.

Beady (also lovingly called Marie) was a member of Capital Church in Garner NC, Pastor Ryan Jackson. She was a woman of unwavering faith, always ready to share her love and devotion for Jesus. Her faith and trust was in the word of God. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

Beady loved to travel and enjoyed good seafood! She had a genuine heart for those in need. Beady applied this great compassion by ministering to others through her insurance business “Legacy Of Love”. As a beacon of light, she inspired all who were touched by her kindness, strength, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Left to cherish her precious memories are 6 brothers, Melvin Johnson (Janice) of Hampstead, NC; Stanley Johnson (Elizabeth) of Rockledge, FL; Gary Johnson (Collette) of Stockton, CA; Norris Johnson of Durham, NC; Sydney Johnson (Sarah) of Bristow, VA; Reverend Dr. David Graham ( Shirley) Piscataway, NJ; one sister, Beverly Artale (Anthony) Davidsonville, MD; a cherished friend and sister in Christ of 41 years, Priscilla Douglas of Garner, NC; one Aunt Jepha Mae Johnson, Fayetteville, NC; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at the Rose Hill Funeral Home located at 472 Wells Town Rd, Rose Hill, NC 28458 on Friday April 4th. Viewing to be held between 11:00 pm – 12:00 pm followed immediately by the Homegoing Service at the Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Rockfish Memorial Cemetery in Wallace, North Carolina.
