Alice Elizabeth Mathis Williams

Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Mathis Williams (Liz), age 90, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at The Laurels of Pender in Burgaw, NC.

Funeral services will be held at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Rose Hill, NC on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill.  Burial will follow at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Left to cherish her precious memories: children: Arthur C. Williams (Deborah) and Byron Williams (Bonita) of Rose Hill and Barbara Birden (Derrick Dixon) of Fredericksburg, VA; brother, Larry D. Mathis of Rose Hill, NC; sisters, Sadie Lee Murray of Teachey, NC and Glenda Hooks (Larry) of Magnolia, NC; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Regeina Kenan and Essie Mae Williams; former son -in-law, Marvin W. Birden; daughter-in-law, Odessa Williams; host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
