Mrs. Adele Whitehead Jones, age 97, of Chinquapin, NC Transitioned into Eternal Rest on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Darryl K. Ferguson, officiating. Burial will follow a Whitehead Family Cemetery, Chinquapin, NC. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Malcolm Jones (Carlson) of Jacksonville, FL and Ernest C. Spicer (Martha) of Elizabeth City; one daughter, Fostina Jones of Chinquapin; one sister, Laverne W. Garrett (Larry) of North Babylon, NY; a host of cousins, relatives, and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation for relatives and friends will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50. We will be expecting Everyone entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wear a Face Covering, and practice social distancing.
