Coronavirus (COVID-19)

To the families and communities, we serve,

The Governor issued Executive order 117 on March 14th, banning mass gatherings, 50 persons or less. The CDC’s recommendations are 50 people or less. We will discuss all available options with our families and decide the safest and best options

To help address this developing public health concern, we have instituted specific precautionary measures to help lessen the spread of the virus by:

  • Increasing the frequency of deep cleaning our entire facility per CDC guidelines.
  • Working with our families to adjust service times and following limitations to attendees as directed by state and local authorities.
  • Offering expanded arrangement planning options through online, phone, and email while continuing to meet the needs of the families we serve.
  • Practicing Social Distancing
  • Washing / sanitizing your hands
  • Limiting physical contact with others such as hugging, kissing, shaking hands and etc.

We are closely monitoring the centers for Disease Control & Prevention along with the North Carolina Division of Public Health, National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, and the North Carolina Board of Funeral Service regarding (Covid-19). We will update persons regarding operational changes based on guidance from these organizations. For questions or concerns regarding funeral home operations please feel free to contact our office (910) 289-3232

Thank you,

Rose Hill Funeral Home, Inc.
